About
Open Works Festival Presents a rehearsed reading of Brown Nose.
A Comedy play which follows a soft spoken, British-Libyan, orphan Sabreen. who impulsively gets engaged to Libyan himbo Ahmed after just two weeks. Sabreen is excited to reconnect with her culture and to meet her mother in law Sabah, who unbeknownst to her is basically a Disney Villain. She faces absurd misadventures including a black magic performing hairdresser and a sassy, shape-shifting genie.
Brown nose is a feral reclaiming of Disney's Aladdin.
