Open Works Festival presents a work-in-progress performance of The Thin Places by Voyager 3.

Celtic belief tells us that the gap between the physical world and the spiritual world is just three feet wide, but in a ‘thin place’ the distance is reduced to almost nothing: just a thin veil between worlds. The Thin Places is an intimate storytelling performance exploring the folklore and legends born from the landscape of our islands: from Balmoral to Barbrook, Iona to the Mendip Hills.

Voyager 3 is the new company of Alex Kelly, who some Sheffield audiences will know from his previous shows with Third Angel. The Thin Places has been developed as part of a Rolling Residency here at Sheffield Theatres, with the support of Arts Council England.
