About
A show about forests and the future.
Branches, Hands and a Ticking Sound is a multimedia work that takes inspiration from contemporary biology and ancient folklore, with a soundscape created from field recordings of the inner workings of trees.
A scale model of a forest has been discovered in a flooded garage. Two people decide to repair this miniature world, and then eventually start adding to it. The process of exploring the model forest takes them to some very surprising places.
The Bare Project’s work deals with our collective sense of what is possible and what is not. This subject is explored again in this show, from a very different perspective.
