Spring Appeal 2026 – Making Theatre Accessible

Please consider making a donation to help us to make the Montgomery Theatre accessible for more audiences to enjoy and experience the magic of live theatre.

Your support can really make a difference and will help us to reach our goal of £30,000 to improve accessibility at the Montgomery Theatre for our blind, visually impaired and D/deaf audience members by installing high quality state of the art audio description and dedicated captioning screens.

• Helping us to raise £15 will pay for an assisting companion to attend a performance with someone who needs assistance in order to attend
• Helping us to raise £250 will pay for one new headset for someone who is visually impaired or registered blind to enjoy an audio described performance
• Helping us to raise £7,250 will allow us to purchase one Captioning screen for someone who is deaf or hard of hearing to enjoy a performance more clearly and confidently
• Helping us to raise £30,000 will allow us to complete the upgrade, purchase and installation of the Audio described and Captioning equipment to ensure that more audience members are able to benefit and experience the pleasure of live theatre.
