World Seniors Snooker are delighted to announce the return to the Crucible in 2026 for their World Championships.
The event will increase to 24 players and begin with a two table set up, allowing more players to experience the thrill of playing at the home of Snooker.
Making their Seniors Crucible Debut will be 7 x World Champion Ronnie O’Sullivan, 3 x World Champion Mark Williams, 2015 World Champion Stuart Bingham and 12 x Women's World Champion Reanne Evans. Former Masters and UK Champion Matthew Stevens, two time finalist Ali Carter, and former World Semi Finalist Anthony Hamilton will also appear.
Four times World Seniors Champion Jimmy White returns, as does 1997 World Champion Ken Doherty and the fastest cue in the World, Malta’s Tony Drago. Defending Champion is Alfie Burden, also returning are ranking event winners Joe Perry, Robert Milkins and Dominic Dale.
Working with Global Federations means also making their return will be 2024 World Champion Igor Figueiredo, the current Pan American Seniors Champion as well as Craig Steadman who recently retained the European Seniors Championship. Mohamed Samy Elkhayat from Egypt, receives an place in the event thanks to securing the African Seniors title in Morocco. The Pan Asian Winner Roger Farebrother also receives an invitation.
