For the Christmas season 2025, Sheffield Theatres are producing a new version of Charles Dickens’ festive classic A Christmas Carol, adapted by Aisha Khan and directed by Elin Schofield.
Casting Call Out
We are seeking young, talented local performers to play a variety of roles in this new and exciting version of A Christmas Carol in the Crucible.
We are looking for young performers of any heritage and background who enjoy singing, dancing and acting and can perform confidently on stage.
The auditions will take place in groups; auditionees need to be aged between 9-16 years with an appearance and ability to play characters aged between 10 to 14 years of age.
We aim to meet as many young people as possible and make the auditions a fun and enjoyable experience with the limited number of places available.
All performers must live within a 30-minute journey of the Crucible theatre in Sheffield where all rehearsals and performances will take place.
