COMING TO SEE A SHOW? YOUR UP TO DATE INFORMATION IS HERE:
Please arrive no earlier than 45 minutes before the start of the show. We may have to hold guests on Tudor Square as we welcome guests safely, so please dress according to the weather! We will be working quickly to get you inside. In colder weather please bring something warm to wear. Please be aware that inside it may feel a few degrees cooler than normal because of our increased ventilation and fresh air flow in the theatre.
Face coverings are mandatory throughout your visit including the auditorium.
In light of the recent government advice about Covid, and taking into account the response to this news from our staff team, our performers and our audiences, we have taken the decision to introduce mandatory face coverings for audiences visiting the theatre from Friday 3 December. We will ask all audience members to wear a mask when they are inside our building and seated watching the performances. This decision will be reviewed alongside the government review of Covid measures on the 19 December.
The only exceptions are for those who are exempt from wearing face coverings, those under 12 years of age, and when people are eating or drinking in the building.
If you arrive at the theatre and do not have a mask, our Front of House teams will be happy to provide one.
Any audience members booked for this period who are not happy to comply with the requirement to wear face coverings (unless exempt) are able to contact the Box Office and we will offer a credit or refund.
AT THE THEATRE
We aim to open the doors to the auditorium 30 minutes before the show starts, and will encourage you to move through to your seats in good time.
Cloakroom and bags
Our cloakroom will re-open to store coats only during performance times from Fri 3 December (Lyceum) and Sat 11 December (Crucible).
We ask that you bring minimal belongings with you as we are not able to store bags including shopping or suitcases. If you are bringing a bag with you, this should be no bigger than A3 size.
We will carry out non-contact bag checks on all bags for security purposes.
