Broadway World UK on Uncle Vanya

‘My life has gone completely off course…’

To what, and to whom, do we devote our lives? And what happens when we ask, was it worth it?

Vanya, alongside his niece Sonya, has dutifully managed the country estate of his former brother-in-law for years. But when Sonya's father returns with his glamorous new wife, the whole household is unsettled as lust and loyalties clash.

Tamara Harvey (Pride & Prejudice) directs this poignant comedy, in a heartbreaking new adaptation of Chekov's masterpiece.

Running time: About 2 hours and 25 minutes (including a 15 minute interval)
