Regarded as one of the finest interpreters of Classical and Romantic piano repertoire, Imogen Cooper is internationally renowned for her virtuosity and lyricism. In the last year alone she has performed recitals in Boston, New York and Paris, and has played concertos with the Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra, Sydney Symphony Orchestra and the LSO.

Imogen’s programme includes Haydn’s dramatic Sonata in C minor – his first written for the newly-invented touch-sensitive keyboard, and a hauntingly beautiful short piece by Thomas Adès.

All ticket holders are invited to stay on for an informal Q&A session with Imogen Cooper after the concert.

A Kurzman Piano recital, funded from a legacy payment from Miss D R Kurzman, awarded by Arts Council England.
