Fuse brings together four new short plays by some of the UK’s most promising writers, brought to life by bright and bold creative teams.

The plays performed during the evening will be  The Ascending by James ErnestVolcano by Joe HouldersSatellite by John Hunter and Boxes by Stacey Sampson.

Inspired by our co-production of A Raisin in the Sun, Fuse’s emerging writers, designers, actors and composers will be pushing the limits of the collaborative process to forge electric new work for the Studio stage.

Presented by Sheffield Theatres’ Resident Assistant Directors Charlie Kenber and Celine Lowenthal with designers Rebecca Cartwright, Carl Davies, Will Monks, Katherine Warman, Bethany Wells and Bob Wilson.

Ensemble cast - Alice Beaumont, Guy Burgess, Caitlin Drabble, Laura Lindsay,  Alicia McKenzie and Joshua Miles (Romeo & Juliet).
