Terms and Conditions of Attendance - Pre-Event Liaison document
Thank you for indicating that you would like to purchase a ticket(s) for the 2020 Betfred World Championship. It is very important that you read and understand the following key aspects to your visit so that you can make an informed decision as to whether you would like to continue with this purchase.
Buying your Ticket
Ticket groups of 2-4 must be from no more than two households, defined as the ‘Social Bubble’. You MUST NOT pass on or sell tickets to any other individual, including anyone within your social bubble.
The Crucible will be accessed through a queuing system in Tudor Square. Please be aware that the queuing system will not be covered and so please ensure that you bring appropriate clothing for any expected weather.
Inside of the Venue
Once tickets are checked you will be issued with a facemask and allowed to access the building. When moving around in the venue, or when passing someone in your seating aisle, you will be asked to wear the facemask. Once you are in the building, we ask that you go directly to your seat. We ask that you do not remain in the foyer area whilst you are waiting for the snooker to start, during the interval or after the session has concluded.
Your seat will be positioned in the Crucible in line with the Guide to Safety at Sports Grounds guidance document issued by the Sports Grounds Safety Authority (SGSA).
The diagram below provides an example of a section of the seating plan. Audience members will only sit next to people who they have purchased tickets with and are in their social bubble.
Exiting the venue
At the end of the session, we will allow audience members to exit one row at a time and this will be done via the designated exit aisles. We ask that all audience members remain seated until we indicate to them that their aisle is ready to leave.
As a condition of purchasing or being allocated a ticket, you must confirm the following:
- You confirm that where applicable and when requested, you will provide contact details to assist with the NHS track and trace requirements.
- You confirm that where applicable and when requested, you will also provide contact details for each member of your party to assist with the NHS track and trace requirements.
- You confirm that you or any member of your party are not currently displaying COVID-19 symptoms.
- You confirm that if you or any member of your party do develop COVID-19 symptoms in the interim, you will not attend the event.
Personal Risk Assessment
You are required to carry out your own personal risk assessment, taking into consideration your own age, health status and clinical vulnerability as well as those people within your social bubble and the age, health status and clinical vulnerability of those individuals as well.
You should also factor in to this risk assessment the potential health risks of travelling to the sports ground in close contact with people outside of your social bubble if this is what you intend to do.
We will be providing you with a Spectator Code of Conduct in advance of your attendance and you will need to observe social distancing at all times during your visit.
