Submission Windows
Our seasons and submission windows are typically as follows:
Spring (January-May)
Submissions to be received by June the year before
Summer (May-August)
Submissions to be received by October the year before
Autumn (September-December)
Submissions to be received by February the same year
Please check the submissions section below for up-to-date information on submission windows and deadlines.
All submissions for studio programming should be submitted through [email protected]. You only need to submit once, and we will get in touch with every artist/company/producer who was made a submission this way. Here is an outline of our process for studio programming:
Stage 1 – Open window of submissions
Stage 2 – Assessment of submissions
We consider every submission made to us – this is done by the programming deparment. We then create a longlist of submissions to be considered by the core programming team. In this meeting we create a shortlist of projects that we would like to take to the next stage.
Stage 3 – Scheduling and availability checking
At this stage we get in touch with all artists/companies/producers to let them know if we would be interested in programming their work or not.
For those artists/companies/producers whose work we would like to programme, we ask for all their available dates within our season and we begin pencilling work where we can.
Stage 4 – Confirmation and deals
At this stage we confirm pencils and start discussing deals – after that we then put shows on sale. This is the final stage of the process.
At any point during these stages, we may ask for further information from you. Please endeavour to provide information such as tour packs; company background; creatives involved; trailers/footage of your show if required.
