See the full cast for Lady Chatterley’s Lover

Full casting has been announced for Sheffield Theatres and English Touring Theatre’s co-production of D.H. Lawrence’s controversial classic, Lady Chatterley’s Lover.

Hedydd Dylan, who will be performing in Sheffield for the first time, plays Lady Chatterley. Jonah Russell, who last appeared at the Crucible Theatre in The Romans In Britain, will play Gamekeeper Mellors, with whom Lady Chatterley begins a passionate love affair and Eugene O'Hare, who recently appeared in Cymbeline at Shakespeare's Globe, will play Sir Clifford Chatterley.

The company is completed by Aretha Ayeh, Will Irvine, Ciaran McIntyreDavid Osmond, Rachel Sanders (who also previously appeared on the Crucible stage in The Romans In Britain) and Alice Selwyn, who will be recognisable to Sheffield audiences from her role in The Village Bike. Declared scandalous for its risqué content and banned until 1960, D.H.Lawrence’s masterpiece is a journey of passion, human relationships and sexual awakening. This rarely performed classic is adapted and directed by Phillip Breen (2016 York Minister Mystery Plays) and runs at the Crucible Theatre from Thursday 22 September – Saturday 15 October.
