Kiss Me, Kate Dementia Friendly Performance

We are staging our next Dementia Friendly Performance on Thursday 3 January with Cole Porter’s riotous, romantic musical Kiss Me, Kate.

The performance will be specifically adapted to meet the needs of people living with dementia, with our staff, who are Dementia Friends, on hand to offer support throughout the day. We;

Tailor the production to make the action onstage clear and engaging for people living with dementia.
Offer free companion tickets.
Make quiet areas available outside the auditorium.

Alongside our Dementia Friendly Performance, we're holding two Kiss Me, Kate Dementia Friendly Singing Sessions on Friday 14 and Thursday 20 December from 1.30pm - 2.30pm. Where people living with dementia and their carers can sing along to classic show tunes such as Another Op’nin Another Show, Too Darn Hot and Wunderbar.

Tickets for our Dementia Friendly Performance are from £15.00 and places for our singing sessions are FREE. Click here to book your tickets for the Dementia Friendly Performance, you can email access@sheffieldtheatres.co.uk or ring 0114 249 6000 to book a place on one of our singing sessions.
