Full casting announced for hang and Standing at the Sky’s Edge
We're excited to announce the casts for hang in the Studio theatre from Wednesday 20 February – Saturday 9 March and Standing at the Sky’s Edge in the Crucible from Thursday 14 March– Saturday 6 April.
hang, written by Olivier and BAFTA award winning debbie tucker green, is set in nearly-now Britain, with a radically altered legal system, and a woman who has been the victim of a serious crime take control of the perpetrator’s fate. This searing and darkly humorous play explores morality and a sense of justice through the lens of one victim’s decision.
Directed by Taio Lawson, hang features Marianne Oldham (A Very English Scandal) as One, Sid Sagar (Press) as Two and Diveen Henry (Apple Tree Yard) as Three.
Standing at the Sky’s Edge – with music and lyrics by Sheffield’s own Richard Hawley – is in the Crucible. In 1961, the first residents of Park Hill were given the keys to their new homes; follow their story over the next 50 years in a heart-swelling, heart-breaking love song to Sheffield.
