Everybody’s Talking About Jamie Wins at UK Theatre Awards

New musical Everybody’s Talking About Jamie won two awards at the UK Theatre Awards on Sunday.

The Sheffield production won the Best Musical Production award and Best Performance in a Musical for John McCrea – who played Jamie in the show. The awards come as Everybody’s Talking About Jamie transfers to the Apollo Theatre next month.

Ramps On The Moon – a consortium which includes Sheffield Theatres – won Best Touring Production for The Who’s Tommy and the Promotion of Diversity award for their commitment to putting D/deaf and disabled artists and audiences at the centre of their work.

The UK Theatre Awards honour and celebrate outstanding achievements in regional theatre.
