Opportunity for English and Drama teachers:
A Midsummer Night’s Dream rehearsal observation

We are inviting English and Drama specialists to observe Artistic Director Robert Hastie and the cast of A Midsummer Night’s Dream rehearse our upcoming production.

Date: Thursday 13 of September
Time: 4:00pm-6:30pm
Venue: Crucible Theatre (please Stage Door entrance on Norfolk Street)

This unique experience will explore:

  • How we take Shakespeare from page to stage.
  • How we interpret the text and the discussions that come from this in a practical context.
  • How to consolidate these rehearsal processes to work within a formal learning setting, creating effective and dynamic Shakespeare sessions.

Following the observation of rehearsals, there will be an informal question and answer session with Robert Hastie and Resident Assistant Director Taio Lawson.

Interested? Please email Georgina Stone at g.stone@sheffieldtheatres.co.uk with your full name, job title and your school.
