Revision Lab

A practical and accessible approach to live performance exam questions for GCSE and A Level Drama students.

Giving teachers and students an insight into our productions including a pre-show introduction, revision resources and excerpt from the scripts. Helping to develop your pupils' analytical and evaluative skills.

The workshops are led by a member of our Learning team and last for 50 minutes including a pre-show introduction and revision resource. It will enable students to:

  • Understand how plays are constructed and realised
  • Deepen their knowledge and understanding of the acting performances and the skills involved as well as the technical and design elements of a production
  • Gain informed knowledge and understanding of the social, historical and cultural context of the live theatre production
  • Develop their analytical and evaluative skills when discussing the effectiveness of the skills presented and of the production as a whole.
