If you need a quiet space to get some writing done, somewhere without the distractions of your home, the cost of having to buy regular drinks at a café, or you just need a different view to stir up some creativity, we might have the room for you. On the top floor of the Lyceum building is our Writers Room, an office space ideal for getting your head down with stunning view over Sheffield to help get your creative gears turning.
The room is open between 10am-5pm and can be booked up to two weeks in advance, completely free of charge.
To book the space please email your requested dates of to [email protected] with the subject ‘Writers Room’ and a brief summary (200 words max) of how the space will be useful to you. Applications will be considered on an individual basis.
Do you have any access requirements that we should provide for any of the above, during the application process or if your applications was successful? We are really keen to hear from as diverse a range of writers as possible and actively encourage applications from D/deaf and disabled writers.
