Introduction to directing, writing, and producing for deaf and disabled people

Find out more by watching the video or reading below

We're so excited to announce a new project in association with Ramps On The Moon and Leeds Playhouse. We will be co-hosting three introductory courses for deaf and disabled people who are interested in pursuing careers in directing, producing and writing.

These courses are aimed at people right at the beginning of their careers, and no previous experience is necessary. As with all our Artist Development work, the courses will be free to attend, and there is lots of practical and financial support available.

There is one-to-one support for applications available. To find out more or to book your session, email [email protected] and [email protected]

Why should I apply?

This is an incredible opportunity to work with industry professionals in a way that's tailored to you. You'll work with them over several months to learn and grow in your course and will come together for a sharing week, where you'll meet and work with other artists like you.

You can find out more about the people you'll be working with by watching the video below, or by coming to a Q&A in January (see 'How to Apply' for more info on this).

When and where will the courses take place?

Please note, while you are welcome to attend the courses in person (travel bursaries are available), you may also attend via Zoom.
