Crucible Corner

Crucible Corner is located on Tudor Square. A popular spot for theatre-goers, the Corner is also a great city centre spot for meeting and enjoying a relaxing drink with friends, tea and home baked cakes, or for a delicious, freshly cooked meal.

An extensive menu is on offer throughout the day and into the evening (see the sample menu download on the left) as well as a range of guest beers, lager and wine.

Music in the Round – May Festival

During Music in the Round’s May Festival, Crucible Corner will offer a selection of specials:

Starters:
Crisp Radish, fresh apple and cheddar cheese salad – £3.95
Buttered asparagus with smoked salmon and hollandaise sauce and watercress – £4.95

Mains:
Homemade Pie with a choice of filling, served with – £8.95
Beef, mushroom and stilton
Chicken, ham and leek
Roast squash red pepper and goats cheese
Homemade Fish pie served with crisp mixed salad – £9.95

Desserts:
Berry Bread and butter pudding served with white chocolate custard – £4.50
Sticky toffee pudding served with salted caramel sauce and vanilla ice cream – £4.50

This menu will be available from Wednesday 8 – Saturday 18 May. Crucible Corner will also be offering jugs of Pimms for £10 during this time.

Our chef team devise, prepare and produce the dishes using only the finest ingredients available to us, from local producers and suppliers who agree with our philosophy that sustainability and quality are important.
