This Finnish quartet is rapidly establishing itself as one of the rising stars of the international chamber music scene. Currently BBC New Generation Artists, they have performed at the Wigmore Hall and Carnegie Hall, among other prestigious venues. Here they perform a varied programme featuring a classical masterpiece, a celebrated twentieth century quartet and a brand new work.

Last year the Heath Quartet won first prize and audience prize at the Tromp International Competition in Eindhoven. Here the quartet performs Beethoven’s spirited Op.18 No.1, Tippett’s lyrical Quartet No.2 and Mendelssohn’s hugely popular Op.80.
