Chuck Baxter is a man moving up the career ladder. His secret? Simple. Chuck lends the company fat cats his apartment for out-of-hours assignations with their secretaries. Everything should be going swell, but Chuck has just fallen for a girl called Fran, who proves that love is rarely a good career move. Based on the multi-Oscar winning Billy Wilder comedy The Apartment, this swinging Broadway musical features a score from the songwriters who defined 1960’s cool, Burt Bacharach and Hal David. Numbers include I’ll Never Fall in Love Again, Christmas Day and the title song Promises, Promises.
