After developing Others at Sheffield Theatres and performing the early stages of the work at the Forge Festival in May, multi award-winning female collective The Paper Birds return fresh from The Edinburgh Fringe with their visual, political exploration of women as Other and ‘Other’ women.

Based on a six month exchange of letters and emails with an Iranian artist, a prisoner and a celebrity, ,b>The Paper Birds use live music, movement, verbatim text and audience input, questioning if it is possible to give voice to three ‘Other’ women who are absent from our stage.
