Booking tickets

As well as our own shows, Sheffield City Hall, Sheffield Arena and Sheffield Students Union events are available to book online, by Phone on 0114 249 6000 or direct from our Box Office at the Crucible Theatre.

You can buy tickets through the website for most of our shows, by following the 'Buy Online' links on each production page.

Tickets can be purchased online at any time up until the day before the performance. If you would like to buy a ticket for today or tomorrow, please call the box office.

If tickets are sold out for a particular performance, you may be reverted back to the home page without warning. If this should happen, you can call the box office to try to get returns.

There are strictly no refunds on tickets unless a show is cancelled. If you are unable to use your tickets we can exchange them to a different day of the same performance if they are returned to the box office by 12 noon on the day of the event. We charge 50p per ticket for this service. However we cannot exchange snooker tickets.

All telephone and internet bookings are subject to a 75p fee.

We can offer to resell tickets once the performance has sold out. Tickets will need to be brought back to the box office and we charge 50p per ticket for this service. Please contact the box office on 0114 249 6000 for more details.

Please ensure that you do not use the 'back' button during the booking process; this might cause your booking to cancel without warning.

Discounts are available on most of our productions, however not all discounts are available at all performances. Proof of status must be presented at the time of booking, so some discounts are not available online. If you are entitled to a discount, please book by phone or in person.

Please note that children over the age of 12 months require a ticket.

Please note: If you choose the 'Collect from Box Office' option, you will need to present both the credit/debit card used to make the booking, and the order number. Tickets can only be collected by the owner of the credit/debit card used to make the booking.

We are currently unable to accept online bookings with special requirements. If you have special requirements, or have any queries regarding your booking, please contact the box office directly.

Some patrons may find the leg room restrictive in the balcony areas. For any access issues, please contact the Box Office.

The Box Office is located in the Crucible foyer. Opening hours are Monday to Saturday 10am - 8pm. The Box Office will close at 6pm on dates without performances.

Group Bookings are available Monday to Friday 9.30am - 6pm by calling 0114 249 6060. We regret we do not have Mini-Com facility, but welcome calls via a Mini-Com operator.

Please note: tickets collected at the box office must be signed for by the card holder of the debit/credit card used to make the booking. You will also need booking order number issued when the booking was made.

If you have any special access requests, please mention these when booking. We will be happy to allocate seating suitable to your requirements and offer any applicable discounts available for the performance.

Our discounts are as follows:

Discount A: £2.50 off for Senior Citizens; registered unemployed; disabled; full time students (NUS); and children under 16.

Discount B: £3.00 off top 2 prices for groups of 10 or more, £4.00 off top 2 prices for groups of 25 or more

Discount C: £10 tickets for full full time education groups of 10 or more. 1 free supervisory ticket for every 10 bought.

Discount D: 25% off for all Square Circle members.

Discount E: 25% off for Family or Senior Citizen Square Circle members only.

Discounts are available on most shows; however, not all discounts will be available on every performance. Please check which are available for the performance you are booking. Please note: There are no discounts available on sporting events held at Sheffield Theatres.
