GB Theatre Company are delighted to be performing William Shakespeare’s epic play The Tempest and the hilarious comedy The Taming of the Shrew in Sheffield. The cast of outstanding professional actors are directed by Jenny Stephens (director of BBC Radio 4’s The Archers) and Jack Shepherd (of ITV’s Wycliffe fame).

This promises to be a really special summer event, why not pack a picnic and come with family or a group of friends.

The GB Theatre Company is a British theatre company performing classic plays around the UK and overseas.

Food & Drink
You are welcome to bring picnics. There will also be a bar and food available to purchase.
Umbrellas are not permitted during the performance.

The Amphitheatre is located on South Street, behind Sheffield Train Station.

GB Theatre weather and refunds policy
This policy forms part of our terms and conditions. We will make every effort to complete the performance and reserve the right to stop and start the action as necessary. Performances are never cancelled or abandoned before the advertised starting time and then only in the event of very bad weather. Please note that we cannot give refunds for cancellation or abandonment as a result of the weather. Tickets are non-refundable unless the event is cancelled by the organiser for reasons other than the weather (in which case the ticket must be returned to the organiser within 21 days of the due performance date).

Please bring warm clothing as even on the warmest days, it can become quite cool later in the evening.
