This breathtaking Lincoln Center Theater production reinvented Rodgers and Hammerstein’s classic musical. It swept the board at the Tony Awards, played for two years on Broadway and was televised across America.
Now the enchanting, smash-hit musical comes to the Lyceum Theatre for two weeks only, following its sell-out performances at London’s Barbican.
Metropolitan Opera Director and Winner of the Tony Award for Best Director, Bartlett Sher, directs a stellar cast and live orchestra of 50 in this sensational show, including British musical theatre stars Matthew Cammelle (Phantom of the Opera) and Rebecca Thornhill (Singin’ In The Rain at the National Theatre).
Considered one of the finest musicals ever written, the score includes Some Enchanted Evening and There is Nothin’ Like a Dame.
Don’t miss this chance to see one of the greatest musicals of all time.
Please note the role of Nellie Forbush will be played by Rebecca Thornhill
