How far would you go to be the best?
Would you sacrifice your social life to win awards?
Would you give up a ‘normal’ family life in the pursuit of your ambition?
LeanerFasterStronger tells the story of one man’s pursuit to be the best, asking the question: what does it take to achieve our goals?
From the boxer battling with his doubts, to the sister who misses her brother on family outings and a gymnast whose 4.00am alarm calls are starting to take their toll; this brand new play explores the sacrifices we all make to progress in life – and what it actually does take to be the best.
Brought to vivid life by four physically-dynamic actors LeanerFasterStronger offers the perfect warm-up to the 2012 Olympic Games in a race to the finish line we can all connect with.
LeanerFasterStronger is part of Extraordinary Moves, an exciting arts and science partnership between Chol Theatre and Sheffield Hallam University. Extraordinary Moves is part of imove, a Cultural Olympiad programme in Yorkshire. www.imoveand.com
