Presented at Studio
Babe the Sheep-Pig is this year’s production by the BTEC Extended Diploma in Acting students at Norton College.
Following our other successful children’s theatre productions, which have included, Happily Ever After, The BFG, The Plotters of Cabbage Patch Corner and Fantastic Mr Fox, we are now presenting the lively and endearing story of, Babe the Sheep-Pig by David Wood.
The production tells the well-known tale of a courageous piglet’s extraordinary adventure. After Babe is won by Farmer Hogget at the village fair, they develop a special friendship, and with the help of his new “mother”, the old sheep-dog Fly, Babe soon learns the herding instinct. When the day of the Grand Challenge Sheep-Dog Trials arrives, the whole farm holds its breath to see whether Babe will triumph, against all odds, to become the hero of the farm.
The production is recommended for children aged 5 and above.
