For Key Stage 3 the Reading unit “Understanding and responding to ideas, viewpoints, themes and purposes in texts” is also covered.

Within each section there are points for discussion and follow on activities. These will both directly refer to the play and relate themes to personal experiences and opinions of the class. For those interested in the process of creating the play, interviews with the Playwright, Richard Hurford are in blue text boxes throughout the pack and with the Director, Ruth Carney, in red. There is an interview with Designer Kevin Jenkins in the Sheffield section on the pack within a green text box.
