Betty: “You drank a charm to kill Goody Proctor.”

Abigail: “I know how you clutched my back behind your house   and sweated like a stallion whenever I come near.”

Proctor: “I like not the smell of this authority.”

Hale: “We cannot look to superstition in this; the devil is   precise…”

Abigail: “She makes me drink blood.”

Tituba: “Eternal Glory. Bless him. Bless God.”

Betty: “I saw Martha Bellows with the devil.”

Parris: “Cast the devil out. Look him in the face. Trample him.”

Proctor: “I say-I say-God is dead!”

Danforth: “I should hang ten thousand that dared to rise against   the law.”

Hale: “There is blood on my head! Can you not see the blood on   my head?”

Danforth: “Hang them high over the town. Who weeps for these   weeps for corruption."

Proctor: “How may I live without my name? I have given you my   soul; leave me my name.”
