Sheffield Theatres offer a variety of exciting events which allow you to do as the name describes - join in…find out. They cater for a variety of ages and needs and the following list describes each event in more detail.

Young People’s Performance – YP
A chance for young people, between the ages of 16 and 26, to see the show plus an opportunity to provide feedback to the company.
Monday 9 February, 7.30 p.m. - £5.00

Pre Show Talk - PST
With Dr Bill McDonnell, Lecturer in the Department of English Literature at the University of Sheffield.
Tuesday 17 February, 6.00 p.m. – Free (tickets available from the Ticket Office)

Touch Tour – TT
A chance for visually impaired patrons to feel the costumes and scenery used in the show as well as an introduction to the voices of members of the company.
Thursday 19 February, 6.00 p.m. – Free to ticket holders

Audio Described Performance – AD
A service provided for visually impaired or blind patrons whereby visual elements of the performance are conveyed through headsets by a member of our qualified audio describers team.
Thursday 19 February, 7.30 p.m.

Behind the Scenes – BTS
A production-based talk and tour backstage.
Tuesday 24 February, 5.30 p.m. - £1.50

Page to Stage - P2S
A practical explanation of the issues raised in staging a play, led by a director with members of the acting company.
Thursday 26 February, 4.00 – 5.30 p.m. - £1.50

Sign Language Interpreted Performance - SP
Thursday 26 February, 7.30 p.m.

Talkback – TB
A chance to talk to a director and actors from the company.
Thursday 26 February, post-show – Free to ticket holders

Sheffield Theatre Backstage Tours
Friday 27 February, 10.30 a.m.
Saturday 28 February, 10.30 a.m.
£3.00 (£1.50 discounts and Square Circle members).
